The Szczecin 2011 Opening Ceremony Video
This video was played on a big screen during the Szczecin 2011 European Short Course Championships, with a dancer performing live underneath. Ended with a swimmer diving into the pool, swimming 2,5 laps before lifting himself up on the lane rope, asking for the big applause that he got :-)

CC photo #17: Don’t dive, Daniel
Just a fun photo from the Szczecin 2011 European Short Course Championships, featuring Danish swimmer Daniel Skaaning and (I suppose) Jacek Miciul, coach of Polish double-gold medal winner RadosÅ‚aw KawÄ™cki at Klub Sportowy Korner Zielona Góra. A fifth for Pál in the 1500 freestyle

Pál chose to race for gold in the…

At least that is who I think it is, Serbian swimmer Caba Siladji (or Csaba Szilágyi) of Hungarian origin, who for instance qualified for the 50 breaststroke semi-final this morning. Courtesy of the organizers of the Szczecin 2011 European Short Course Swimming Championships.
