Norway’s Solli improves 50 back Nordic record from yesterday
At the Debrecen 2012 Europeans today, Norway’s Lavrans Solli improved upon his 50 backstroke 25.40 Nordic record from the semifinal yesterday, clocking 25.28 and 7th in the final tonight. See result list here.

Lavrans Solli 25.40 and new Nordic record in the 50 backstroke
Norway’s Lavrans Solli managed an impressive time of 25.40 second in the men’s 50 meter backstroke yesterday, clearing Denmark’s Mathias Gydesen’s Nordic record of 25.44 from the Budapest 2010 Europeans, and qualifying for the final tomorrow here at Debrecen 2012. See results here.

Norway sends 16 swimmers to the Debrecen 2012 Europeans
According to simma.nu/no, Norway will send 16 swimmers to the 2012 European Championships in Debrechen, Hungary, next month, including Ingvild Snildal but not Alexander Dale Oen. Snildal qualified for the London Olympics at the Amsterdam Swim Cup in March, while Dale Oen qualified at the Shanghai world championships last summer. They hope to have more…
