They left for Denmark and then Croatia this morning, to attend the final training camp before London 2012. Won’t come back until after the Olympics.

The Danish Swimming Federation announced today that Mathias Gydesen has received the official invitation from FINA to compete at the London Olympics, expected as he was only 1 hundredth of a second from qualifying back in March. The Danish Olympic team going for a bike ride at 3000 meters altitude in Leadville, Colorado, judging by their faces very early in the morning. Paulus Wildeboer looking sceptical at the BMX-size bike that he got, and Bjarnason apparently giving up on the idea entirely :-)

My brother the geologist putting Pál Joensen and coach Jón Bjarnason on a special assignment, to find a Kaibab Limestone while visiting Crand Canyon. I understand they succeeded, only to me it still looks like just a rock. Off our Faroese site.
