An alligator latched onto the leg of 13-year-old Gabriel Klimis after he jumped into a Florida creek. Klimis fought back punching the gator in the head and was able to swim back to shore. NBC’s Sam Brock reports for TODAY.

Pasco County Fire and Rescue firefighters were called to the scene on the evening of Tuesday 20 June, where they found the stuck animal.
