Hong Kong swimmer Siobhan Haughey appears unstoppable. She won two silver medals at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, and in 2024, gold at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha. Haughey started swimming at the age of four and trains five to six hours a day in the water. She admits that at one point in her career, she questioned whether all the effort was worth it. In this episode of Listen to Her, Haughey returns to visit her secondary school and swimming club. To mark International Women’s Day, she opens up about her childhood in Hong Kong and how she became a role model for girls and women across generations.

Missing Swimmer, 17, Found Dead off Florida Shore After Drills With Swim Team | FOX News | WFLA
The body of a missing 17-year-old swimmer was recovered off the coast of Florida on Wednesday after the teen failed to return from drills with his team, authorities said.
The teen was identified as William Zhang, who was visiting from Quebec, Canada, with his swim team for a camp in Indian Shores, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.
Zhang was doing drills with his teammates in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Indian Shores when he was reported missing around 9 a.m., the sheriff’s office said.
