The Aquatics GB Championships 2024 are set to be the British qualification meet for the Paris Olympics. For swimmers like Freya Colbert, this is a chance to realize a lifelong career goal of representing Team GB at an Olympic Games.
Over the last 4 months, Propulsion Swimming has worked with Freya to capture her build-up to British Champs and see behind the scenes of what being an elite swimmer in Britain looks like!
The first episode of this mini-series sees Freya head to altitude in Flagstaff, Arizona. See behind the curtain of a training extra she’s been tasked to do by coach Dave Hemmings; as well as, how she and the rest of the British Swimming squad adapt to isolation away from family and friends while on training camp.

Dean Summers Becomes First Man to Swim From Newcastle to Sydney | Sky News Australia
A 64-year-old Australian man has broken a major record, becoming the first man to swim from Newcastle to Sydney unassisted.
Long-distance swimmer Dean Summers completed the 95km swim in 31 hours.
“I’ve recovered well because I trained well,” Mr Summers told Sky News Australia.
“It’s just been a really successful endeavour.
“I’m really happy with it.”
Mr Summers took on the challenge to draw back attention to Australian long-distance swimming.
