Sky News host Caleb Bond says “surely” there must be an investigation now over the 23 Chinese swimmers testing positive for drugs months before the Tokyo Olympics.
“Surely now there has to be a full and frank investigation,” he said.
“Because you have got a lot riding on whether or not you win those gold and silver medals.
“If these results are overturned from Tokyo, the US would be eligible for gold medals and Australia would be eligible for silver medals.
“You expect if you are going to the Olympics and you are competing fairly that you will be competing on a fair-level playing field with other people and even the World Anti-Doping authority swept it under the car.”

Sky News host Caleb Bond says “bombshell revelations” show 23 Chinese swimmers from the Tokyo Olympic Games recorded positive drug tests only months before the games.
“Let’s start with those bombshell revelations today,” he said.
“That 23 Chinese swimmers, who competed in the Tokyo Olympics had recorded positive drug tests at a training camp only months before the games.
“It has been revealed the Chinese anti-doping agency secretly cleared the swimmers.
“Rules the positive tests were the result of contamination.”
