Sometimes you just need to wear christmas hats and dive into freezing water… Why not? It’s Christmas!

Every Christmas day, the residents and visitors of Herm Island gather to swim at 11.00am. This year, Belvoir Bay was the venue as it is beautifully sheltered from the prevailing westerley wind.

Porthcawl,South Wales UK The annual swim which raises money for charity The water temp. was 48F which is 9Centigrade….The air temp was the same ,oddly enough.
