Ovesh Purahoo grew up on the island nation of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar. In high school he was recruited by the University of Regina Swim team, where he’s been swimmiing and training for the past 3 years. He’s off to Paris to compete for Team Mauritius in the Summer Olympic Games.
