Chinese swimming team members have received over 200 anti-doping tests during the first 10 days in Paris, according to team nutritionist Yu Liang.
Yu said every athlete on the team has to receive at least 5 to 7 tests every day on average, and such frequency of tests have disturbed the athletes’ rest.
The International Testing Agency responded to questions about increased anti-doping tests this year during a press conference.
According to ITA data, over 30,000 tests have been conducted on more than 11,000 athletes.
