The French sports minister took a dip in the river on Saturday (Jul 13) in a publicity moment, hoping to quell fears over the water’s suitability for athletes. The Paris mayor is set to do the same this week. She previously postponed her swim after Parisians threatened to defecate in the Seine en masse.
