The World Aquatics Championships are being held in Doha. And our 4-person swim team is on a mission. They only know one speed: compete like they train.
These Team Guam swimmers are distinctly different from each other, but all share a laser-like focus and know what they need to do. You may not see it on their expressions, but their game faces are on long way before they hit the pool.
Nothing rattles Izzy Poppe’s laidback nature. Jimi Hendrix is the protective and mentoring older brother, AND consummate teammate. Amaya Bollinger is methodical. And Mia Lee is jovial. Our team doesn’t believe in predicting outcomes. But they WILL guarantee how we’ll compete.
