‘A Part of Me’: Ariarne Titmus on Where She Got Her ‘Fight’ | Sky News Australia

The Courier Mail’s Robert Craddock speaks with Olympic swimming champion Ariarne Titmus about where she may have gotten her “fight”.

Ms Titmus spoke at the Courier-Mail’s Future Brisbane editorial campaign and event on Friday which explored how the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games can be a catalyst for improving liveability across the city.

She had suffered complications at birth where the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck and she had struggled to breathe.

“I believe that there’s something inside of me that kind of got me going – I could’ve not made it but I believe that I’ve kind of carried that throughout my life,” she told Mr Craddock.

“And I feel like I have that fight when I race and not just in swimming but me as a person.”
