Feargal Sharkey: We Are Swimming in Our Own Waste | New Scientist

Undertones singer and environmental campaigner, Feargal Sharkey has spent much of his recent years on the frontline of the struggle to save Britain’s rivers. Speaking at New Scientist Live in London, Sharkey explains how rivers are, for him, “the heartbeat of humanity and the soul of our intellect”, he says. “We’re destroying them and treating them with contempt. And clearly, I think that needs to stop”.
