Paris Cancels Olympic Swim Test in Seine Due to Water Quality | Al Jazeera

The first swimming competition due to be held in the River Seine in Paris has been canceled because of pollution. The test event ahead of next year’s Olympics was called-off after a week of persistent heavy rain in the city caused sewers to overflow into the river.
