NCAA Adopts New Policy for Transgender Athletes Following Controversy Over Penn Swimmer | NBC10 Philadelphia

The NCAA has adopted a sport-by-sport approach for transgender athletes, bringing the organization in line with the U.S. and International Olympic Committees. The ruling follows controversy over Lia Thomas, a transgender swimmer at Penn who is currently breaking records competing with women after spending her first three years at the school competing with men.
