Melodie loves the health benefits of sea swimming, but even more than that, she loves the social aspect. And so, when lockdowns were imposed owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, she needed to change tack. Instead of meeting groups in person, Melodie formed an online community of local sea swimmers which quickly flourished into a club. With restrictions lifting, she can’t wait to meet the members in person and go sea swimming with friends – old and new.
