Singapore will have four swimmers at the Tokyo Olympics, with veteran Quah Ting Wen the latest to secure a spot. This will be her third outing since the Beijing Olympics in 2008. She will join her brother Quah Zheng Wen, gold medalist Joseph Schooling and open-water swimmer Chantal Liew. Quah Ting Wen is headed to Tokyo by virtue of being Singapore’s highest-ranked swimmer, based on the world swimming body FINA Points Table achieved by June 2021. The 28-year-old said she’ll likely contest the 50m and 100m freestyle events.
