Dana Whitney Vollmer is an American former competition swimmer, Olympic gold medalist, and former world record-holder Vollmer won a total of thirty-two medals in major international competitions, including nineteen gold medals, eight silver, and five bronze, spanning the Olympics, the World Championships, The Pan American Games, the Pan Pacific Championships, and the Goodwill Games.

In this video, Dana Vollmer shares with us her passion for swimming. She also discusses with us the advantages and disadvantages of having an invisible disability and the misconceptions and discrimination faced. Dana Vollmer also shares with us her misdiagnosis experience and how it affected her life.
