Sara Faulkner became the first woman to graduate from the Coast Guard’s helicopter rescue swimmer school in North Carolina and joined the elite group of swimmers 20 years ago. Her problems began almost instantly when she first complained of sexual harassment. Things grew so intense that after 17 years in the Coast Guard, Sara had to find a lawyer just to stay in long enough to collect her full retirement. Sara joins us today with an empowering story and tells us what led to breaking her silence.
