At the 2018 FINA Swimming World Cup in Budapest, Brazil’s Nicholas Santos broke the short-course world record in the 50m butterfly, in a time of 21.75. A few months later he went on to tackle his own world record with a very close finish of 21.81 and a new Championships record at the 2018 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in Hangzhou. His time of 21.75 at the #SWC18 in Budapest still remains the best time today. Relive his performance from Hangzhou!
