Mindfulness is a key component to fully enjoy the sport you competing in – arguably in life as well.
Our actions, thoughts, movements, and so much more tend to dictate how we feel and how well a swimmer develops.
Not all people practice mindfulness directly, but have some form of habits throughout a day or during practice that makes them mindful in one way or another.
I am encouraging you to be more mindful in your next workout – can you feel a new muscle you haven’t before? Are you feeling light, medium, or heavy in the water? Perhaps a mix of two.
Are you aware of you actions and how you treat others? Do you care how you want to be perceived?
What matters to you?
Why do your dreams matter?
