Repeat this in your head, then repeat it in the pool: kick, transition, down; kick, transition, up; kick, transition, down. The dolphin kick is used with more events in swimming than just with the butterfly stroke. If you can master the dolphin kick, it can help you swim stronger. Remember, one key tip: The biggest component of the dolphin kick is learning how to kick and move water in both directions (on your front and on your back).
