Better late than never I guess. I participated in this study at UNLV a couple months back. It’s no surprise that swimming in a wetsuit is much faster than without, but the study wanted to find out how much of a difference there was between each scenario. There was also a second part to the study that measured body temperature with and without a wetsuit on. The purpose of this study was to determine how good the body is at regulating its core temperature while swimming at max effort with a wetsuit on. The study is not yet complete and due to the fact that all schools are closed I am not sure when it will pick back up. I was debating whether or not to post this video since there are no finalized results of the study yet, but I thought it may be interesting to see my personal results and the process of being included in a university study.
