Destroying a SEAL SwimSafe 2.0 – A Lesson in Fail Safety

SEAL SwimSafe 2.0 is a drowning prevention technology which relies upon continuous communication between a centralized hub monitored by a lifeguard or parent and wearable swim bands worn by swimmers. SEAL SwimSafe is only a last line of defense for drowning prevention and the fundamentals of early and effective swim lessons, vigilant lifeguards and parents and a safe pool environment MUST always be followed to prevent tragedies

The pool environment, and children in general are very hard on electronics and so this video both demonstrates the durability of the bands as well as the principal of fail safety where if you ever were successful in destroying a band, the result would be activation of the alarm.
