Think You Could Handle Michael Phelps’ 4,000-Calorie Breakfast?

In 2008, Michael Phelps was on top of the world as the fastest swimmer at the Beijing Olympics. He caught the globe’s attention with his skills but also with his jaw-dropping diet. Phelps reportedly consumed more than 4,000 calories each morning. Inside Edition tried to take on the massive meal. That year, Phelps also broke the record for most Olympic gold medals. Swimmer Mark Spitz, who had held the record for 36 years, told Inside Edition how proud he was of Phelps.
