While many destinations offer scuba diving as a sport, Maldives stands out due to its versatile marine life. To make sure that no one feels left out the Maldives has many training schools that can get you ready for your first dive in an hour or two. The cost of the training schools ranges between 130 to 1000 USD. The best time to visit is from January to mid-April. Even if you do know how to dive, you should consult a few instructors before you go diving on your own.
Paddle boarding:
If you think lying in the sand and getting a tan is overrated, you can go paddle boarding and enjoy the sun while lying on the board. Paddle boarding is a sport and a great way to relax too. You can ride the waves or stay in the calm waters and have some time to yourself. Paddle boarding is sometimes even first-timers can do without training, granted that they may fall a few times but that’s the fun of trying new things out.
