Russian swimmer Martynova suspended for 4 years over doping — coach

Russian swimmer Yana Martynova has been suspended for four years over doping, Martynova’s personal coach Gulnara Aminova told TASS on Friday.

According to the coach, the drug ostarin has been found in the swimmer’s body system.

“Yes, she [Martynova] has been suspended. It is what it is,” Aminova said.

Some athletes have been acquitted while some others have been suspended for a lesser term. And their cases will be examined only in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne. But we won’t be able to pay for the services of that Court as we simply don’t have such money,” the swimmer’s personal coach said.
