Iceland creates PSA to help visitors avoid ‘hot tub awkwardness’

Iceland is doing everything it can to convince tourists to visit.

Icelandair offered free Icelandic “stopover buddies” to give travelers a local experience, and now the official tourism board has created an entire curriculum to teach foreigners how to fit in.

The first lesson: How not to be awkward at the public spa. Gudmundur, the head of spa etiquette, provides a somewhat crude crash course on the topic in one of several videos available through Iceland Academy.
