Hundreds gathered to remember Canadian swim coach Randy Bennett, who lost his battle with cancer last month at the age of 51.
Bennett was considered an innovator and was a firm believer in Canada’s potential to produce swimming champions, which he proved through his work with Ryan Cochrane.
Together they won nine world and Olympic medals. Cochrane will compete on the international stage for the first time following Bennett’s death when the Pan Am Games begin in July.
