Lifeguards in Daytona Beach rescued more than 100 swimmers from dangerous rip currents this weekend.

Red flags are still out Monday warning beachgoers about dangerous swimming conditions. On an average day, beach patrol said they will rescue a dozen people.

“All hands are on deck for the whole weekend,” said Cpt. Tammy Marris of Volusia County Beach Rescue.
