Theo St. Francis was a member of the Napa Valley Swim Team and later on became the captain of the North Bay Aquatics while attending Marin Academy. He was a Junior National level swimmer who was to be a member of the MIT swim team. While conducting a robotics experiment in an island near Boston Harbor, Theo was involved in an accident that left him paralyzed.
