Camilla Pedersen communicates with family after 19 days in coma

European Ironman champion Camilla Pedersen has taken a big step back to life when she Sunday was taken out of the medically induced coma she has been kept in since she on September 3rd crashed on her bike and suffered a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain. She has communicated with her family, but is still very groggy because of the medication. Danish national coach Michael Krüger says that the doctors have now started the recovery phase, which can vary from a few days to a few weeks, where after a long and hard rehabilitation period awaits.
