Danish swim club AGF Svømning yesterday decided to shut down all swim training at Gellerupbadet in Aarhus for at least a fortnight, after two of their instructors were attacked by 20-25 youths in the disadvantaged residential area. They were luckily still in their car, but had its side mirrors kicked off and received kicks to the side of the car also. The club discloses that they have had several bad experiences in the area these past years, with threats, vandalism and stolen bikes and goods. If no solution is found, the shutdown will be permanent, to the further disadvantage of 200-250 families. Read and watch for instance tv2oj.dk
