After collecting the votes from the 202 National Member Federations, media and aquatic experts, FINA’s Athletes of 2012 are Missy Franklin (USA) and Michael Phelps (USA) in the swimming category, and Eva Risztov (HUN) and Oussama Mellouli (TUN) in the open water swimming category. See FINA.org
