“In Russia, when temperatures drop to minus 20 degrees Celcius, its time for a swim.

Winter swimmers here have been enjoying their hobby for years, saying a dip in the cold water keeps them invigorated and full of energy.

This woman says she prefers to swim when it’s really cold outside… when it’s too warm, she says, the cold water burns.

In snow covered parts of the Ukraine, winter swimmers bob up and down in freezing water. And some top it off with a roll in the snow.

But if freezing water isn’t your cup of tea, there are more conventional winter sports to be enjoyed.”
