At the Chinese Long Course Nationals today, Li Xiang won the men’s 200 breaststroke in a new national record of 2:11.67, clearing the FINA A Olympic qualification time of 2:11.74. Chen Yin won the men’s 200 butterfly in 1:56.14, also within the FINA A cut, and Li Xuanxu the women’s 400 IM with a 4:34.92, Ye Shiwen also going under the FINA A standard with a time of 4:35.17. And in the men’s 200 backstroke, Zhang Fenglin and Xu Jiayu clocked 1:57.39 and 1:58.27, where the FINA A cut is 1:58.48. Read more here on SwimmingWorld Magazine.
