Earlier this month, five-time Olympic swimming medalist Josh Davis was filmed at New Braunfels in a small role for the coming movie “Return of the Hiding Place”, which details the fight by a group of youths in Holland to save the lives of Jews during World War II. Davis, 38, plays a Dutch resistance agent passing over contraband to two young heroes of the film, a sequel to the 1975 movie based on the famous autobiographical novel by Corrie ten Boom.
“My little dream has always been to get asked to try out for the ‘Aquaman’ movie,” said Davis, laughing. “Too bad. I can hold my breath for a long time underwater for all those scenes.”
