5 World Records On 2nd Day Of Rome

Australia’s Brenton Rickard set a new world record in the 100 breaststroke, with a time of 58.58 where Kosuke Kitajima’s world record was 58.91. Sweden’s Sarah Sjostrøm set a new world record in the 100 breaststroke, with a time of 56.05 where her world record from the semifinal was 56.44. USA’s Rebecca Soni set a new 100 meter breaststroke world record, with a time of 1:04.87 where ‘Lethal’ Leisel Jones’ world record was 1:05.09. Russia’s Anastasia Zueva set a new 100 backstroke world record, with a time of 58.48 where Kirsty Coventry’s world record was58.77. And in the women’s 200 individual medley, USA’s Ariana Kukors improved on her world record from the semifinal, from 2:07.03 to 2:06.15.
